How do you change column font size and row height in a data view?

BWitham 8 years ago in Configuration updated by Amaraa (Not Active) 8 years ago 3
I am trying to customise a data view for a user with poor eyesight and have been able to increase the font size of all the data in the data view.

I have not been able to work out how to change the font size of the field headings and to change row heights to fit.

Thanks,
Hi,

It depends on which version you are using. However, in most case to change the headers' font and size you have to do the following:
  • From the Ribbon go to Options
  • In Options windows from left menu select Dataview
  • Change the font, size and backcolor for the dataview header.
Please let me know if it helped.
Thank you for pointing that out.

It certainly helped with the column headings, although I did compromise a bit since we have over 80 data view (servicing our many sections) & as I understand it, this method would change the column headings in all the data views etc. Still I'm sure everyone will be happy for their headings to be a little bit clearer!
Regarding the dataview column heading I missed one thing.

The column heading option is by the machine. When you configure the column heading it is not saying that all the users who use the Geobank will have the same column headings. It is by the GB installed machine. Which means for the poor eyesight user you have to go to his/her machine and do the setting for the column heading. It will not apply to all.
