Profiles in the Ribbon (New Feature)

Hi Guys,

We have another new feature in Geobank 2013 SP1 that is worth highlighting. Previously, granting functionality to users would cause it to appear on the Home Screen and users would have to return to the Home Screen to use a new tool. With Geobank 2013 SP1, you are now able to configure a Profile so that it appears in the Geobank ribbon. This effectively allows administrators to setup custom 'Toolbars'.

To setup a Profile to appear in the ribbon, you configure its details like so:

When this Profile is granted to a User or Group, it will appear in the ribbon like so:
