Datamine Drillhole File Import

Is there a way to have an import feature that untangles the singular datamine drillhole file into a drill hole database on import? The .dm file has Collar cords, from, to, survey info, interveal xyz, and assay info all in the file and needs to split up for drill hole viewing in MM. I realize it can be visualized as xyz assay points but there is a lot less functionality in MM without a database. Splitting the file isn't hard but it strikes me as a fairly easy import feature.
